Special Today Only: Bush to bring in poor Iraqi's instead of poor Mexicans
This is a joke right?
"The Bush administration plans to allow about 7,000 Iraqi refugees to settle in the United States over the next year, a huge expansion at a time of mounting international pressure to help millions who have fled their homes in the nearly four-year-old war."
Ugh, only two years to go.
At least if Obama or Hillary gets in the White House we will know where we stand. It is quite obvious from public statements and voting records, that Hill or Oba will make every illegal a citizen with the right to vote (Democrat). Bush pretends to be for America, but really the man has bean neutered by the left and he hasn't done a thing to fight back.
I've never understood the President's pro-illegal immigration stances. One can only assume the wheels of big business need the "slave style" labor. Work hard, don't talk back. The problem is the 80% of America that does not own "slave" labor camps, vis-a-vis chicken processing companies and the like, has to deal with all of the problems illegals cause.
As stated, at least with Hillary she is honest that the America of the past will bear no relation to the America of the future if she has her way. Hillary or Obama will take this country far to the left, to the magical land of employment for life, French style Union power, healthcare mandated and decided by the state, and worst of all? A second act to the embarrassment of pulling out of Vietnam.
The problem with Vietnam, as far as I can gather, is that politicians never fought the conflict as a war. War is hell and it can't be refined. As I've told my nephews when dealing with school yard bullies: either fight to win or don't fight at all.
Bush has made all of this possible, face it.
It's been tough being a conservative who knows the war was folly. Why didn't the President bomb Saddam into submission like Reagan did with the Colonel in Libya? His stubborness has made my whole party look bad and paved the way for Hillary-care or Obama-think. Either way America will be worse off.
